Baby facts at 23 weeks:
- Hee's forming little nipples
- His face is fully formed now -- he just needs a little extra fat to fill it out. I've decided from the ultrasound pics that he looks like Joey and has his forehead and strong chin.
- He's listening to my voice and my heartbeat -- and even to loud sounds like cars honking and dogs barking....so he probably knows that we hav a super annoying cat by now! Ha
Overall, this past week has not been great...other than my birthday which really was a perfect day thanks to Joey. :-) Thank you all for the cards and calls too! Lately, I am having a lot of growing pains in my back, stomach and pelvic area...no fun! It makes sleeping and even rolling over very difficult at night. Joey has really stepped up and is helping around the house a lot more and making sure I don't lift or do anything I'm not supposed to, but nothing seems to relieve the nightly pain.
We had a busy weekend with friends and then last night, Joey came down with a stomach virus or food poisoning. Since it is hard to tell what it is, I am staying as far away as possible until he is better!
I have ordered a few more things for the nursery like some bookshelves and my target registry is done now so I feel like I am slowly checking things off my list and ready to see the room come together! I also got some more cute outfits and things from my mom this week so he has a good stack of very cute things to wear already. I love looking at them and our friend Ely has a few that she holds up on the hanger like there is a real baby in them already. It's too cute! In short, everyone is getting very excited.
Well, I am baby sitting for another friend tonight so I have to run, but here is my weekly picture!
