28 weeks down!

 So I kicked off my 29th week of pregnancy with our first baby shower!!  How exciting.  We got so many cute outfits and a few of the big things off our registry.  I told Joey that while we need a lot more stuff, I think we could get by in the first few weeks with what we have and that is a good feeling.  We even have the little ones crib put together even though we don't have the mattress for it yet.  The rest of the nursery is on hold until I find some fabric I like for the bumper, crib skirt, etc. Joey won't paint until I pick it. He has learned about repainting. ;-)

I GOT LOTS OF WISCONSIN GEAR FOR JOEY'S NEW SPORTS BUDDY! And Yes, that is a baby cheesehead hat. :-)

The shower hosts, who are the greatest group of girlfriends ever, and me with my mom and Roberta! So happy they were able to travel down and be a part of this fun and special day. 

 

              

The Pregnant girls...minus Rachel. Sorry she missed this picture! I'm due in August, then Jennelle in September, Vanessa in October and Rachel in December! Going to be a fun holiday season!

 

 

The food was so AMAZING and the decorations were really, really cute! The girls did an awesome job!  Look at this cute bike made of diapers and other baby gear.  It's way too cute to mess up.

As many of you know, I didn't pass my glucose test, so I will be going back in tomorrow for a 3 hour long, follow-up test.  I am not excited about the test, but I am more worried about the outcome.  Things have gone smoothly so far and I really don't want to battle with gestational diabetes. :-( Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated and we just hope I can pass! 

 

This coming weekend we will be headed off to Oak Island for our last beach vacation before we are 3!!  :-) I am hoping for clear skies and some real relaxation.  Everyone on my mom's side is going, so the relaxation could be challenging.  Haha

 

And last but not least, here is my weekly picture.  Yes, I know I'm big....what you can't see is my swollen ankles.  They are not pretty either!  It is what it is.  :-)
