21 Weeks!
This past weekend Baby M turned 21 weeks old and all he wanted to eat was cake. The sweet cravings are not going away and the scale has shown it! haha I have to learn to ignore it and get back on my plan this week. This week his approximate weight is about 13 oz. and he is about 10.5 inches long from head to toe. The fruit picture this week annoys me since we all know a pomegranate is NOT 10.5 inches long. I think they need to try to be more realistic. :-) So, I left it out again.
He is a wild one in there most days now. I feel like he turns and kicks most of the day and night, so I am trying to figure out when the 12-14 hours a day are that he sleeps? (according to my book) I am not taking this as a good sign. He needs to try harder to sleep more like his mommy. LOL On a positive note, my back is feeling quite a bit better and small task aren't as hard. It has made getting out to walk and do some exercise a lot more enjoyable. Here is my weekly bump picture.....much better than last week since I was actually awake and dressed when I took it. Ha
We have had gorgeous weather here in Atlanta for the past week or so and another beautiful week is ahead. I felt pretty useless over the weekend since Joey has taken over most of the yard work and the pool is way too cold for me to get in. So, I'm just hanging out, getting fatter and waiting for things to grow...belly, garden, flowers. Here is a pic of the garden and just so you know, we JUST planted the seeds in it last Sunday....so 8 days ago today and look how much has already sprouted!! It is so exciting. There is still some landscaping to do around the beds to make them look like yard fixtures, but Joey did an amazing job building and installing the boxes. He also hauled somewhere close to 40 wheelbarrows of compost and soil from the driveway to the back yard to finish them last weekend. He has been working so hard and it really shows! He really is wonderful. And for both moms out there...I did not force Joey to do this and he is not suffering!! lol He enjoys it and loves seeing his finished work as much as I do. :-)
This week we finally have the people scheduled to come out and stain the fences and the decks...so then they will match very closely to the boxes and the yard will look so much more complete. I can't wait!!! Our tulips, Japanese maples, and climbing roses are also all starting to bloom and bud, so Spring is in the air. Sorry to you guys up in WI...looks like you haven't escaped the snow just yet. :-/
Well, that's what we've been up to the past few days! Hope you all have a beautiful week!
Love Erin & Joey
