So as I'm sure some of you know, Joey and I had a very long and late Monday traveling, so yesterday was a complete wash. In short, our flight home from Las Vegas took us about 12 hours getting us home at 2:30am on Tuesday. So, I didn't find time for much yesterday other than work and resting.
However, the weekend trip was great and the hotel we stayed at was very nice...thanks to Joey's company. :-) I did absolutely nothing except sleep, eat and sit by the pool. The weather was amazing!! Those are my toes and Joey is hiding in the pool behind those people, his colleagues. I am pretty sure Baby M already loves the water and we can't wait for some float time this summer at home! And yes, I wore a swimsuit, but I did not feel pretty at all.
The belly has really grown over the past week and just like my book said, it came with several extra lbs. :-( The good news is some of those must have been from the large amounts of water I drank while I was there because I've lost almost 2 since I got back home. Getting back on my normal schedule and eating habits is much easier here. As of this morning, I have gained a total of 6.6 which is well within the range I need to stay in. I am also having a lot of random body and muscle aches that aren't making life easy.
So this coming Monday is the big GENDER reveal day!!! I know I am really excited. Even though we have our guesses, finding out for sure and starting the planning will be great! And what if we were all wrong...that would be a funny surprise. :-) I've also been waiting to feel some of the first kicks this week. Twice now, when lying in bed at night, I think I've felt it, but it's hard to know at this phase what you're supposed to feel. As the baby's bones are hardening this week, I am sure it will become much more obvious.
So there are no clothes that hide that bump now! Even Joey's boss poked me...I am not sure why everyone needs to see how hard it is?? Anyway, it is obvious in all shirts and I've decided that I despise pregnancy jeans. Seriously, you have to pull at them every 5 seconds. I am really ready for summer and some dresses that don't fall down.
Have a great week and be sure to check back on Tuesday next week for the BIG REVEAL!!
That bump just gets cuter and cuter. I love reading all of your posts! :-) Wish I was there to POKE your belly! haha
