So this is the final week of our first trimester and we are so so excited for our big appointment on Friday!! I'm sure it will not be fun, but we should get to see our little baby again and this time he/she will hopefully look more like a baby than a blob. :-) Additionally, they will probably take tons of blood and ask us 5 million questions. So this week, all of the babies organs, muscles and nerves are formed and starting to work together. He/she also has definable ears and eyes. I will definitely share the new ultrasound picture next week!
As for me, still no huge change. I am fairly thin and not showing much when I wake up, but the moment I drink or eat something, I expand rapidly. I can't really understand that, but the good news is that as of today, I've only gained about 1/2 a lb total. It looks like a lot more to me (and Joey) since he points it out a lot (and pokes my belly regularly), but the scale doesn't lie....or at least I don't think it does!
I tried to get Joey's help in the picture taking this week, but he wouldn't stop making me laugh so I used one of my own again. I also told him he was making me look fatter than I am. haha
In other great news, my mom, sister and Mac are all coming down this weekend to visit us and we are going to the circus on Saturday.... which I personally am very excited about!!!
And also, we have booked our vacation to WI this summer pre-baby. Hopefully without any complications, I will still be allowed to travel over July 4th week. We have a wedding on the 6th and tons of family time planned already!
